Most of people in the worlds have friends in their life, after their family. But we don't know they are sincere with us or not. I especially like words about "Friendship who Long Last" I think that it's beautiful words. And I like when people talk about their friendship from deep of their heart. It's so Sweet, i thought.
Right now, i will tell about one of idol group from South Korea who did interview magazine about his relationship or his friendship with his member of the band. I don't know why, but when he talk about his friendship with his belong member, he always talk with love, with warm heart and sincere.
And He is Nichkhun Buck Horvejkul, one of Thai member from 2PM. Although he is from Thailand, but he was born in Rancho Cocamonga, California, USA. Man who was born June 26th 1988, started debut with 2PM when he was 21 years old, and he had 3 nickname in South Korea, they are "Wink machine" because he is still good with his wink, "Thai Prince" because his manner with the other people and "Grandfather" because his behavior in the daily life. He has 1 older brother (Nichan Horvejkul) and 2 younger sister (Yanin and Cheeren Horvejkul).
Okay, enough talk about him. Right now, I will share about his thought about his member 2PM from some interview of magazine and the other member opinion. Let's Check it out!!!! Go Go Go!!!!
ELLE MEN: It has been many years since 2PM debuted. You guys have possibly passed the highest point in your career. The number of album sales has decreased. The demand for your appearances may be diminished. Will these factors affect your future works?
Nichkhun: They have made us anxious from time to time. But we don’t think we have to compete with certain groups. We prefer to compete with ourselves. And each member of 2PM has planned his future activities. Five of us have to fulfill the mandatory military service within the next 2-3 years. Jun. K, Taecyeon, and I are of the same age. Thus both of them will enlist in the army first. Then other members who are 1-2 years younger will follow suit. When the day arrives, we will consider what we should do next.
Nichkhun: It means we will be apart for a while. Therefore we are trying to make the most of the next 2-3 years. We have planned our albums and concert tours. Right now our schedules are all packed until next year. We are trying to do our best. And there is no point stressing out about it.
ELLE MEN: How do you manage conflicts within your group? You guys have maintained good relationships for over 7 years, since the day you released your first single ‘Hottest Time of the Day’ in 2008.
Nichkhun: In our group, seniority is not that important. We are friends. When problems arise, we will gather together to discuss them. We will frankly point out any wrongdoings or what we dislike. Each of us will talk for mutual understanding. This is the system we have used since the beginning. Working side by side, we can be frustrated or angry with one another on occasion. When it’s too much to handle, we will talk about the problems. We will talk so we can understand one another. And we will adapt ourselves to achieve harmony. We have never physically fought it out.
Nichkhun: A senior friend once asked if any punches were thrown within our group. When I said never, he was surprised. Korean men are quite hot-tempered. They punch each other in the face and later drink soju together. That’s it. They can be friends again. Older generation of Korean men are like that. 2PM is a family. We are very close. We can almost read one another’s mind. I think one day when we don’t work together anymore, we will still keep in touch. Like when we have not met for a while, we would find time to have a meal or play golf together.
HAMBURGER : If you have to dream ahead into the future as best you can, what are your dreams like?
“In a few years, my friends will have to enlist in the army. At the present, I dream to continuously cherish and maintain our friendships for the next ten and twenty years. Even when we don’t have an opportunity to work together, I want us to keep calling one another. I want us to fly to see one another when we no longer live in the same country.
“My dreams are getting closer to becoming a reality because military enlistment is inevitable. They have deferred their military service duty (due to works and studies). I am the only member who was exempted from enlistment after I took part in the army recruitment lottery.
“Therefore I would like to focus on group works more than solo works at the moment. I prefer performing with my friends to doing individual works. Usually when I have some free time, I will film for a drama in China or have activities in Thailand. But this year I would like to spend more time with my friends in Korea. We have recently planned to travel overseas together, possibly in the USA.
“I will rent a car and take them to visit several places. It should be easy because some of my friends are living there. 2PM’s members want to go to Las Vegas and San Francisco. We are planning a road trip where we can drive and travel along these routes.”
SUDSAPDA: Can you tell us about
your friends in 2PM?
Nichkhun:
It is almost 9 years since I went to Korea in 2006. Each member has a different
characteristic trait. Jun. K is passionate about composing music. He has a
great part in our upcoming album. He composed our title song. Jun. K is
cheerful and likes to party. He wants to make people around him happy and have
a great time with him. But he can be stressed-out once in a while and wants to
be alone. Usually he’s a funny guy. He looks very cool when he composes his
music or sings.
Nichkhun:
Taec (Taecyeon) is carefree and lighthearted. He is very intelligent and
resolute. When we have our meetings, he will be the one who tell us how to
manage certain issues.
Nichkhun:
Wooyoung is funny and polite. He has a mind of his own. He is thoughtful but
thinks too much sometimes.
Nichkhun:
Junho is like an innocent little boy. He can be self-willed on occasion. Junho
looks very cool and sexy when he is on stage.
Nichkhun:
Chansung is the youngest member but his face says otherwise. (Laugh) We often
tease him about his mature look. He reads a ton of books so he is very mature
in his thinking. Chansung is a really nice and polite guy.
SUDSAPDA: If other members talk about you, what do you think they will say?
Nichkhun: (Laugh) I try to be their older brother because I am the second oldest member of the band. I have to be mature. I have two younger sisters while only Jun. K has a younger brother. So I look like the older brother in the group. I take care of them and buy them meals. I think of them as my brothers.
Thairat Newspaper : Each member has work individually, please tell us about works/activities that your friends recently been doing? They discussed on who will talk about who. Ok … let’s start with Taecyeon who will talk about Chansung.
Taecyeon: “Chansung is a very determinant/focused person. He recently filmed in China, and accidently tripped over. I would like him to take a good care of himself.”
Thairat Newspaper : Next is Jun. K who will talk about Taecyeon.
Jun. K: “During filming drama “Assembly”, he’s getting in with his character, and sometimes he has carried that character out with him off set (laugh). But no matter how hard his work is, Taecyeon will always smile.”
Chansung added.
Chansung: “When we are on International tours, Taecyeon’s face will be very bright/cheerful, because he gets a lot of rest.”
Thairat Newspaper : Wooyoung talked about Jun. K.
Wooyoung: “Right now, there’s only song composing in Jun. K’s head/mind. Since he wakes up, he will always think about song composing. So he hardly has time to sleep (laugh).”
Thairat Newspaper : Junho teased Wooyoung.
Junho: “And for Wooyoung, he always thinks about 2PM. He’s always cheering us on all activities. And he will work on his album soon.”
Thairat Newspaper : Nichkhun talked about Junho.
Nichkhun: “He just finished his solo concert in Japan, which I also attended. He showed his confidence and performed very well on stage.”
Junho: (smile) “Nichkhun would look at me with the eyes that just like my mother’s.”
SUDSAPDA: So what will they say about you?
Nichkhun: I have no idea. I don’t want to listen to them describing my bad points. (Laugh)
Thairat Newspaper : Chansung talked about Nichkhun.
Chansung: “He has activities in China. When I filmed a program in China, he would come as my guest. Now, we play golf together. I want him to take care of his health.”
HAMBURGER : What are the advantages and disadvantages of being a solo artist and delivering your works with your band mates?
“The first benefit of working as a group is having friends. I am working alone today but when I return to Korea, I can see my friends again. I am happy every single time when I meet my friends again. We call one another and hang out when we have some free time. I want to tell you I am so glad that I have met these 5 friends who are good, decent and sincere. Though some of our characteristics and personality traits are different, we are sincere to one another. We honestly talk about how we feel. Age is irrelevant in our group. A younger member can ask older members to have a talk with him and vice versa. If we are upset with what a certain member has done, we directly talk to him. Why did you do that? When that member explains his actions, we are ready to understand him. This is the way we resolve conflicts and misunderstandings. We are always ready to talk among our group.
“The downside is the fact that you may meet band members that you can’t get along with. Living with them must be hell. You have to work as a group, share your ideas, your room, and basically everything. Living with people you dislike can become outright torture. You must unavoidably spend time with them. It’s very fortunate 2PM’s members love one another like we are in the same family.”
Thairat Newspaper : Recent album “No.5” has shown the true identity of 2PM, why?
Junho: “Jun. K composed the title song of this album, “My House”, and we all have participated in this also. Actually, all members are taking part in composing songs. There are 12 songs in the album, and we composed 9 songs.
Daily News Paper :In MV “My House”, there’s a mixing and matching of many fairy tales together. If you can choose any fairy tales to be put in this MV yourselves, which stories would you like to put in?
- Chansung: “I choose “Cinderella”, because it matches well with our MV. Actually, Cinderella is already in this MV, but if I have a chance to choose, I still include it in anyway (smile).”
- Junho: “I would choose “Aladdin”. I wanna dress up like Aladdin.”
- Taecyeon: “I choose tale of a Bread House “Hansel & Gretel”. It’s the story of a father who married a wicked stepmother. She tells him to leave his son & daughter in the wood, but the boy leaves the trail of bread crumbs to find the way home. But those bread crumbs are eaten by animals, so they cannot go home. Until both of them find a witch’s house that made out of bread and candies. At the end, siblings get rid of the witch. The reason that I like this story is because I want a house that made out of breads and candies, to attract ladies (smile).”
- Jun. K: “Personally, I like “Timon & Pumbaa” and I also like “Mercury and the Woodcutter”.”
- Nichkhun: “I like “Big Hero 6”. It’s the cartoon character that looks like a white balloon. The reason that I like this story, because he likes to take care of others’ health.”

Besides, not only MV itself, but album’s concept, clothing, and performance are the ways to show our fans that we have grown up and be more appealing. And from now on, we will continue showing developments in producing the albums. May our fans please kindly anticipating.”

Thairat Newspaper :Starting from the story inside their houses in Korea, have they visited one another’s houses?
Junho: “We went to Taecyeon’s home, and my home. Wooyoung bought me painting of Thai artist, Nichkhun gave me figures, Taecyeon gave me cat’s house, Chansung bought me slippers.”
Taecyeon: “I wanna go to Nichkhun’s home. I have never been there (laugh).”
Chansung: “Mostly we will arrange meeting at home for Birthday celebration.”
Nichkhun: “Sometimes we will buy food and bring over.”

Daily News Paper : Currently, there are many new Idols emerging, do you have any methods to keep up with the standards of your work in continue of being loved and famous?
- Junho: “The most important thing is teamwork.”
- Nichkhun: “Actually, we have never worried about our popularity, which we are more or less famous than other teams. But the most important thing that we’ve worried about is the teamwork within our team; how well we can work together, how much we love one another. It’s not important that we are more famous than other groups, as long as 6 of us still be a team that love one another and has good teamwork.”
- Taecyeon: “Nichkhun answered well (smile).”
